alone. and lonely. isn't that such a common phenomenon? but to me it's not as bad as being together with someone and still feel alone & maybe lonely. it defeats the purpose of being together in the first place right? no sense of belonging, the unbearable lightness of being, like you don't even exist. sometimes you feel like it doesn't even matter whether you exist because no one is going to notice the difference anyway - suicidal anomie. often we find ourselves choosing betrayal over loyalty, to deny rather than believe/accept, to forgo instead of holding on. in short, we're all suicidal in a certain way.
everyone's less complicated than they think they are. the catch is probably to know what you want and what works for you. yes, that simple. but the complexity in this simplicity would be the process of doing so, and that's why people say life is a paradox. we forget easily and we need others to keep us in check, to know where we're heading, to know where we belong. still, many get lost. freedom, as all desire boundless comes with a high price. you may be lost and delirious at first, but ultimately lost and lonely. well then if you're lucky, you are lost and found.
find the key to the state of equilibrium: between the burden of weight and the lightness of being. easier said than done, but that's probably the purpose of living.
